The front door to everything

First-time setup

Go to browse.mediaforest.org and click Login with Discord. This creates your account.
In our Discord, run the /setup command — the bot sends you a private link.
Click the link, set a password (8+ chars, 1 uppercase, 1 number), and you're in — one login works across every app below.

Password rules: at least 8 characters, with at least 1 uppercase letter and 1 number.

Watching movies & TV

Jellyfin Go to watch.mediaforest.org and sign in with your username + password.

On your TV / phone: install the Jellyfin app, add server https://watch.mediaforest.org, and sign in with the same account.
Pick a title and hit play. Resume, subtitles, and multiple audio tracks all work.

Reading books, manga & comics

Kavita Go to read.mediaforest.org and click the SSO / OpenID button — it signs you in automatically.

Three libraries: Books, Comics, and Manga. Open one and start reading in the browser, or use the Kavita mobile app.

Requesting something new

Can't find a title? Request it and it'll be added automatically.

Movies & TV request.mediaforest.org (Jellyseerr) — sign in with Jellyfin, search, and request.
Books · Manga · Comics browse.mediaforest.org (Book Forest) — search, tap Request, and it downloads into the library.

New requests usually appear within a little while, depending on availability.

FAQ

I forgot my password.

Ask the admin — they can reset it in a couple of clicks and send you a new one.

Kavita/Book Forest let me in but Jellyfin won't.

Jellyfin uses a separate login step. Make sure you're typing your exact username + the password the admin gave you. If it still fails, tell the admin — it's usually a quick fix on their end.

Do I need a separate account for each app?

No — one Media Forest account works everywhere with a single sign-in.

Can I use this on my TV?

Yes — install the Jellyfin app on the TV, add https://watch.mediaforest.org as the server, and sign in.
